I gather that a lot want Dabo to say that DJ sucks, I should never have hired Streeter as OC and Goodwin as DC and I have failed in a lot of the other hires. I am going to make major changes immediately. DJ will not be the QB this weekend and Streeter and Goodwin will not be at the game coaching. Our offense has sucked for the last two years and we will run a total different offense Saturday.
Does that sound like a good coach to you? He is going to defend his coaches and players because that is the right thing to do. Dabo has made changes when needed. I will give him the benefit of doubt for as long as he is the Head Coach at Clemson. He’s earned that right. Where would Clemson be if he had not been hired as the Head Coach? Get behind him and support him like a good fan does. And yes, questioning everything he does is not support. Rant away!

Matter. The regular ole fans’s criticisms and bitching doesn’t mean a thing. Attendance or lack thereof matters too. Vote with your $.
Regardless, a dissatisfied and disgruntled fan base is the canary in the coal mine. Dabo best not be tone deaf here. His answers come across as condescending and dismissive of the fan’s concerns.
I wouldn’t expect or think he should blow everything up mid-season. That would be insane and irresponsible. But why improve the play calling? Why not play Cade more? Why not try a 2QB system for a while? Why not allude to the fact that he is hiring some high powered analysts to do multiple assessments and recommendations for the off-season and signal that significant changes are afoot because Best is the Standard and right now we are not meeting that standard?

You can ask the questions, but do you know the answers. Have you ever coached at the college level? We don't know what we don't know. He has been very successful. As I said he has earned the right to do what he thinks is right. He wants to win as much as anybody. It's in his DNA.
