I agree. Oregon wins and wins big it doesn't make the acc look quite as bad and makes alabama and the sec look that much worst.

Meyer brought SEC recruiting practices to the Big 10

I believe the Big 10 coaches used to honor verbal commitments to other schools. So if a kid gave a verbal to Michigan, Wisconsin, Purdue, etc... then the other Big 10 coaches would stop recruiting. I'm pretty sure Meyer laughed at this (or was it Rich Rod before?).
As far as bringing the SEC to Big 10? Don't know. He did seem to upgrade their roster with speed. Although to be honest, I have no idea if this is true because I'm only repeating what the media says.
But I am pretty sure that that the competing coaches used to honor verbals.

They need to check their roster before the make stupid comments. At least 70 of their players are from Ohio.Another 15 or so from In,Il,and Pa .4 or 5 from Fla and Ga and only 1 from bordering SEC state Ky . I quess we can count our Orange Bowl win as another win over the SEC,but right now that's not saying that's a big deal

Well in the last 3 years Clemson has beaten Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, UGA, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. We have lost to UGA, and South Carolina twice. We are 6-3 in those 9 games. We're 2-0 in games against the last 2 bowl opponents that Alabama is 0-2 against. Clemson stands on their own - not a conference affiliation. We have won 10 games 4 years running. The hills are bringing good football to college football and we are only getting better.

Meyer was the first $EC coach to run the HUNH...

So Meyer changed the $EC, he wasn't influenced by the conference's style of play of fat boy football.

It's funny how over the years the rest of the $EC has become
Jan 12, 2015, 6:11 PM

as dumb as coot fans. I remembered, not that long ago, when all $EC teams hated each other guts and their fans would never pull for another $EC school to win a national title. Now they are like coot fans and ride the coattails of other teams, when they have down seasons.

I honestly believe that. Btw, does this mean our win over Ohio St mean we have another win against the SEC?
