Columbia news bias

I thought that after the first CFP rankings were released that was what teams are listed as for games, media, etc. However, on WIS website here in Columbia, their sports headlines read "Watson leads No. 3 Clemson to blowout before injury" and "Wilton Speight helps No. 2 Michigan route Maryland." I thought Clemson was #2 and Michigan wad #3 last Tuesday or did I see that wrong?

Some use CFP and some stick with AP.

ESPN usually switches over to the CFP rankings, but i saw other sports tickers that were still using the AP and a lot of local media (newspapers, local news) will still use the AP rankings.

And that is why they used the AP rankings. That and if they used the CFP rankings then the majority of their readers would be complaining that the Tigers are doing well enough without The State's help.
