Columbia area Tigers....

I don't listen to 93.1 to much but on Sunday mornings I will...tuned in this morning and it sounds like a normal radio station. Not a sports talk radio. This raises a couple of questions. Has 93.1 changed it's format and now a music station and the most important, if they have, will they carry the Clemson football broadcast anymore. Or has cootlumbia succeded in another way to not cover Clemson. (example: The State Paper)
I may be out of the loop on this one and it may have already been discussed. I apologize if it is "German".

Why do you say that? I live in columbia and I listen
to 93.1.Tiger fans in columbia are as much a Tiger fan
as those in the upstate.I love Columbia, so don't
knock my town, just because the coot university is
here. I have been a Clemson fan for many years and
I love them as much as you do.

great. Columbia doesn't compare to the previous mentioned cities. I have been here 30 years, and I am a proud son of the South, but Sherman screwed up when he didn't burn it totally to the ground!

I know one of the owners, who told months ago about the pending change. He said that they were planning on carrying the Clemson games and were in negotiations at the time. I will try to get an update.
I think the combination of 107.5 'The Game' and Korncoot's show moving to 100.1 killed off the ESPN station.

It will change to an easy listening station. 93.1 will carry Clemson games . The holding company that owned 93.1 is in Chapt.11 and had to sell it due to reorganization.
