Is this going to play out like the Wire where these guys get squeezed to rat out Blatter? Will the US ever get a World Cup again?

Blatter is like a Mafia boss. He is untouchable.

Teflon Sepp.
Qatar WC is just an absolute travesty. The WORST decision ever and they had to know that the fallout would eventually be massive. Unfortunately, I think they were all so caught up in thinking that they were all untouchable, they didn't consider the repercussions.

This is business as usual for FIFA.

Welp I think a big part of this has to do with CONCACAF, which is pretty much north/central America. I think the Swiss are taking on the broader FIFA part but the US is just a bunch of kickarse badarses man an we can police the whole glaxy nomsaying?

with RICO, since money changed hands on American soil they can use RICO to indict FIFA officials on serious charges.
I imagine they will try hard to squeeze them to get to Blatter, but as Greenr said...that dude is a cockroach and won't die

He has cancer and is dying, he gave up a lot of information and evidence which I believed got the ball rolling. If you noticed most of the allegations are centered around CONCACAF stuff. But this is just the first step, the Swiss have an investigation going and I'm sure others will join in now.

All I said was they should be arrested and tried. The judge will decide their fate.
