New laptop is in and getting it up and running. Comes with Microsoft Edge of course, which is not terrible but not great. Is Google Chrome still the go to?

can't stomach anything bing-related. Whatever you use, you will occasionally need to try a different one or switch them up.

I was strictly 100% Chrome on the previous laptop. What does switching them up do for you?

on one browser or another and switching browsers will resolve it.
They all automatically and continuously upgrade themselves now. Once in a while those upgrades aren't compatible with a website.
Like last year for a few months, when I would go to Duke power website to pay my mayonnaise bill, the popup window to complete the transaction wouldn't work on chrome. Wasn't being blocked that I could tell, fooled around with it some and then tried firefox. Worked fine. A few months later I tried Chrome again and it worked normally.
Don't know why, don't care. But switching was an easy fix.

Well, with Firefox you can customize it extensively.

You can keep Firefox from accepting cookies, tracking location, you can make it run in memory and not write disk cache data, lots of advantages for Firefox with security over Chrome.
