He should have had the first hit on Tuesday and his lazy “Joe cool” play is hurting this team lately. Lack of effort.

Yup. He seems to be playing for "show" and not for the love of the game anymore. Seems really unhappy and acting out like a little kid. Maybe all those line drives he hit right at somebody for outs early in the year have played with his mind. Who knows.

I did notice a slammed bat when he walked in the later part of the game

I think he threw the bat down in disgust because the ump had called him out his last at bat on a horrible called strike three. The home plate ump was one of the worst so far this season.
