It blows my mind that two schools under sanctions and probations for previous NCAA violations would put forward a statement that implies that they have conducted any kind of investigation. They have clearly done nothing more than ask the student if they did anything wrong. If any of these allegations were to be proven true then the respective school should definitely be found guilty of failure to monitor while under probation which might actually have meaningful penalties. They could at least pretend they are doing some form of inquiry.
