Agree their is a place for Quan on this team maybe a special 3rd down package or something like that but #11 has to high of motor not to be on the field.

Blanks and Defensive Scheme

Was wondering about Blanks and our overall defensive scheme lately - I didn't get to see much of the game Saturday but saw we've got Blanks starting at LB - was this more of a nickel package or is there a particular reason we don't have him at safety and start Steward or Lateek at LB? Secondary seems to have been the weak point of our D so far, and I would think we'd want as much talent on the field as possible.

He should start at safety, put Brewer on bench, Townsend at hybrid position....play Stewart, Townsend, Anthony, Goodson, more at LB... to move on some guys....defense needs more players.

I was think this maybe, but does Blanks seriously have a better grasp on the D scheme as a true freshman than Lateek does having had a year of college ball under his belt?

Must have bc he has been playing more. Now I would put him at safety and get trek on the field. Some guys just are not getting it done and we need to move on.
