Then why does Texas A&M always suck when they bring in lord of transfers along with top-5 recruiting classes?

not what most are talking about. There is little doubt that maybe a couple of decent experienced linemen and one good wr would help this offense big time. It sure couldn't hurt

Agree … I love our recruiting plan and I believe the fact that we don’t bring in 20-30 transfers is a big selling point… but I def think it should be used to bring in a handful of experienced guys in positions that maybe that OL or WR (although high star talent on paper) is taking a little longer to develop. We would be a completely diff team with one or two experienced OL and one experienced wr with some length… and throw in a kicker, although that may hide some of the other issues I believe we would be looking at a 6-3 7-1 type of team right now …

WR? Really? Not one of our WR can run a route to get open.
Klubnik may not be DW or TL, but one thing those guys had that Klubnik (and DJU) doesn't have is an open receiver to throw to. Renfrow was always open. Ross, Rogers, Higgins...they were open a lot.
OTOH, DJU threw screen passes to open receivers into the dirt about every other throw, so there's that.

My point though, it’s likely coaching here too. Not just transfers.

Portal is a piece of the puzzle. Which is a part of roster management. The number one issue in my opinion is roster management and RM encompasses several areas.
You are about to see Dabo change several things… Including portal usage. If it weren’t an issue, he would keep it exactly the same.

You can’t lose 10-15 experienced players a year and not use the portal. It’s just common sense. It affects depth and healthy competition. Portal is a must. It’s not an opinion. It’s a fact.

draft picks. We had two first rounders and six overall picks last year. We aren’t losing that many players this year and we have three possible first to second rounders in Carter, Wiggins, and Trotter. Tyler Davis is also being predicted as a someone who can be a solid NFL player. Also, Mukuba, is being predicted as someone who could have NFL potential if he decides to forgo his senior season.
Once again the facts contradict your assertions. You’re not a Clemson fan, you’re pulling for Clemson to lose just so you can say I told you so.

Coaches - Austin, Riley, and Grisham only Scheme - nope Evaluation - nope Development - just OL, QB, and WR see their position coaches above Portal - nope, only way portal would have made a difference this season would have been to bring in a QB like Sam Hartman

FSU poached players from other schools with NIL deals

Clemson will never do this. Bringing up FSU isn’t a good example, because their dirty tactics of poaching are well known

Not sure why Clemson fans even attempt the math required to figure out the transfer portal. Just stop, sit back, and wait for Dabo to embrace it. It will all make sense then.

we don’t have a single offensive position group- players or staff- without problems. This off-season may be the most important in more than a decade.
