Next Saturday

It’s that time of year again, Saturday can’t get here quick enough. Last year we won the ACC and went to a BCS bowl but we did it by competing as the underdog and sneaking up on people…that won’t happen this year. This year we need to take another step towards getting back to being an elite program. We have to win the games we are favored in…starting next Saturday. Auburn will be playing the underdog, a role we know well from last year, this is a role that the other tigers are not accustomed to playing. I mean when is an SEC team ever not favored over the ACC? They will come out ready to fight but I think we do also.

The key this year will be in the trenches. Morris has been working the big uglies hard; hopefully transforming them into big nasties. The BV defense will be much improved and hopefully will play with a 70 point chip on their shoulder. If we can control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball this could be a special year. If we can show toughness and play smash mouth football it could be a tremendous year. Hopefully that Tiger Swagger has returned….we’ll find out next Saturday.

Just curious. Does anyone on t-net NOT know when we play Auburn? dayum! Heck - most of us have countdown timers on our pc's or somewhere and know how many dang seconds it is until we play. The OP could have said some Saturday in the future and I think everyone here would have figured out which Saturday that would be.

sheeesh. hope some Saturday gets here so we can play Auburn.
