Auburn & Toomer's Corner questions..
Aug 14, 2016, 9:14 AM
|
|
1. Did i see a pic of their having a Huge PAW painted within entire intersection at Toomer's Corner?
2. When Clemson wins game (around 11:30 pm there; 12:30 here)..will town allow us to roll the "new" trees?
3. If so, should we use an Orange OR Purple tinted toilet paper?

and we are staying as a group with some of her former teammates while in Auburn for the game. I would expect our fans to be polite and complimentary to the Auburn hosts. In my opinion, Auburn is the closest thing to a sister school to Clemson in the southeast. We have a lot of similarities from both being land grant schools, heavy engineering emphasis, as well as lots of historical ties dating back to the beginning of our football program in the late 1890's.
Not to mention the old "...Clemson is Auburn with a lake...." comment most SEC fans make when they come to Clemson.
Go Tigers!!

Over our tiger paw. Outside of high school I hate other teams trying to use our paw or an altered version of ours.

the new brick one looks like an obvious smoothed out version of ours.

the painted one they had before looked ridiculous, like it was drawn by a 5-year old.
I think a permanent reminder of Clemson in the heart of Auburn is a good thing. Funny, but perfectly appropriate these days.

Messing with their trees or paw would be a good way

to get in a fight, get arrested, or get run over. Plus we're being presumptive if we don't think this game is going to be tough, hard fought, and close.

Thanks for posting this article. I don't remember hearing about the 1 o'clock tilt for the kickoff time. I do remember how exciting it was the 1st time we drove to a game and found the paws painted on the highway as we entered town.

Mizzou paw looks like something fit for a dumpster. There is only one Paw that really means anything, and that is the Clemson Paw, a real Tiger would wear our Paw over all others!!!
