Not fire, retire.

Hope this team has a great season and we go to Omaha. Then, Jack can retire on top. Kind of like Stoudt. His last game was amazing and left us feeling he had gone out on a positive note.

and have underachieved for some time now and that a change would be the only way to get over that.
Hopefully, this team continues to impress and play well. We'll see.
I'm done harping on Jack unless something truly awful happens.

well done sir. I can appreciate somejuan that man's up!
I'll add that I totally agree about being stagnant. Something needs to change whether it be the coaching or if simply winning and getting there can do it. Either way I just hope we continue with the type of play we saw over the weekend.

of course we have been stagnant but there are way more reasons than just the head coach. and if you can not see those reasons then who really has their head in the sand.

teams performance?
You can tell me facilities held us back(I agree facilities have been and still are lacking compared to others), but I can't recall a bad year of recruiting(i may be wrong). So if talent is there, what does that leave?

recruiting hadnt been "bad" but there was a drop off under Raginos (I think that was his name the guy before Lecroy)

Jack did not earn the hot seat in one weekend and will not get off the hot seat by beating a very average coot team. Esentially JL is TB, not too bad and not too good. Let's see how he does against the better ACC teams and the regional before passing judgement.

Oh wait he didn't. But Leggett has led us to 6 CWS. But don't let facts get in the way of your hatred towards Leggett.

I have said retired for the past couple years....
IMO he has done too much for Clemson to be fired. I think that would be a classless move on our part. I still think we need to work hard on securing Lecroy. IMO he is the next big time assistant coming through the program. I would like to see him be put in a position to be the next HC.

I am happy we didn't lose a series yet again to what we will see is a mediocre at best coot baseball team. It makes living here so much nicer to not have that crowd running their mouths. All they have is their new found love of wimmins hoops. I can tell their baseball team is not roiding as much as they used to. They have some twigs for players.
1 series does not negate a half decade of bad baseball just like many of you say 1 bad series does not make a season. There is a pattern of bad baseball that is real and cannot be ignored.
If he parlays this into a regional host and wins it and then does the same next year but add in a super regional win then I would consider that great improvement.
My question to you is if we go, say 38-18 or worse and lose in a regional to another non power will you call it out?
