Anyone watch Saban's media day?

He didn't say much about Clemson, but it did come up. It was nice seeing on the screen that he lost to Clemson in the title game. He did say that it wasn't just the last play of the game that we won on, it was the rest of the game that lead to that moment. it was nice hearing some respect for our program. Booger also mentioned that Bama's great and veteran team lost to a better team last time we saw them. It wasn't much, but it was nice hearing about our championship!

It's a great day to be a Tiger!

Yes, he had a lot of Respect for FSU and Clemson. Even the SEC panel including Finebaum agreed with Booger.

I agree. I am sure he thinks they could have won, but I am certain we could have won the year before, too. That is the way of the really great teams and coaches. Who knows? There could be a 3-peat before it's over this season. Then some will talk about how boring it is to have the same 2 teams every year. I won't be one of them. The last 2 were wars, and so would another one. That's what great teams do - go to war and leave it all on the battlefield.

Saban had respect for us the year before too, because in his mind he knows he could've very easily lost both of those Title games.
