They definitely had a "gamecock walk" type thing last game

I went. I think the band thing must be new as well as the location.
Most schools do a "----- walk". It's not unique.

To be fair, we "stole" Tiger Walk (or whatever it's called).

Which is a shame. I remember when we CREATED traditions, we didn't copy them.
I am fine with the walk. It gets the fans involved early and the team feels the support. But let's not claim it as a tradition.

They don't even know a tradition when they have one

Brad Scott had his team do the Gamecock Walk the whole time he coached there. Apparently their world was created in 2009 and nothing of consequence happened before then.
Sheesh! One of the few times they actually have something they can call a tradition and they refuse to recognize it because it would mean giving the credit to someone besides the current egomaniac that they call coach.

bleh...we stole this one
i am not a big fan of it anyway...especially what it does to traffic on perimeter trying to get parked before a nooner
i think they need to 1.) have it somewhere else and 2.) let the players dress more casual
why...because I certainly wouldn't want to put on a suit before a football game
