If he has any inclination of going pro, then why not play him? He was already projected by some to be the #1 receiver in the draft...

Yes absolutely, ever that's says No on here is basing it of the article from the Charleston paper which the writer misunderstood what he was hearing. I expect Mike to be cleared by the doctors this or next weekend and work his way back into the lineup son there after.

It's not a serious injury at all hairline fracture. Probably heal up in 4 weeks but 6 to be sure. The coaches are just saying that they are planning to go without him the whole season because Mike health is more important. It's the PR right statement. I know a guy that played qb at WVU in the 70s. He said he had the exact same injury and he practiced the next week.

It's best to assume he's out for the season, because he most likely is. If he does come back, just count it as a pleasant surprise. There's no need to speculate.
