Does anyone find it interesting that the Democrats don’t want Grump to be the Republican nominee?
It’s almost as if the Democrats think that Biden will beat anyone except for Trump.

Did you ever consider that maybe, just maybe, Trump isn't innocent?
You can't simultaneously claim that Democrats are both the most inept part, but are also secretly pulling all the strings in the "deep state".
Republicans are part of these investigations as well, and republican judges have ruled against him.
He's literally been a slimy POS as long as he's been in the public eye, and you think democrats (which, btw, he was his whole life until he ran for the presidency) are just being mean to him?
Maybe read a couple other sources before you keep whining.

Officials of crimes how we started to resemble a banana republic?
Could have started with Hillary. Trump didn't. So we start with him. Then H Biden. And then J Biden if there's case.
Then go after the insider traders in Congress.

Holding government lawbreakers accountable is less "banana republic" than letting them walk. And saying Trump should get a free pass because everybody else did is perpetuating the same system we're decrying. I'm much more okay with this leading to a brutal series of politicians prosecuted than I am with allowing the system to wave away crimes if you're "too big to jail."

But this isn't it. This is Trump being prosecuted for willfully disregarding the law because he thought he was above it, and any one of us who would have done the same would be facing charges as well.

People who break the law should be prosecuted, and they should be prosecuted because they broke the law. The government and it's resources should be utilized accordingly; that is legitimate use and function of government. That does not include using the government in a partisan fashion, one "side" against another, for endless accusations and investigations, which is what we have right now (and have had for some time, by all sides). The fact that actual crimes may have been committed does not change that, or in any way legitimize that abuse of government.

If this was innately partisan, Trump is going to walk because the charges are going to be built upon a house of cards. But, my guess is they believe they have a rock-solid case where there is a clear violation of the law, clear establishment of mens rea, and clear evidence of the lawbreaking.

Let’s wait and see if it leads to a series of politicians getting the hammer. If it does then faith in the system can be restored. If the Biden’s walk free then we all know what America has become.

If Trump was quietly retired and not running for office none of these charges would be being conjured up out of thin air. That fact in and of itself should tell you all you need to know about how political this entire thing is.

Whether or not he was, is, or wants to be the President, all that matters is if there is evidence he committed a crime. If there is sufficient evidence, he'll be found guilty. Hopefully he is not guilty of this crime.

Everything from the Federal level is political. The Dems think this actually will help Trump get the R nomination because his base supporters will rally around him thinking he's being beat up by the "system". But make him weaker for the General election and give Biden a better chance. Also, this will be dragged out past November 2024 for continuing effect.

So which part of this is a partisan exactly?
The government requested docs back and he refused. He apparently also shared the docs with people he wasn't supposed to.
I'm scratching my head here, it seems pretty clear-cut that he performed a criminal act and should face the consequences. I thought that was the Republican's whole shtick?

American. Hillary literally destroyed documents while under subpoena. No charges. Biden stole documents over a decade ago as a Senator. No charges.
The Uni-Party doesn't want anyone messin' with the status quo. T-Rump scares'em. It's really that simple.

The obvious irony...

...from those who parrot Trump and his enablers by saying this is all partisan politics by the Democrats is that Trump is the one guy we know Joe will beat. If this costs Trump the nomination, it dramatically increases the chances that the GOP recaptures the White House.

never takes a single step backwards, and instead is always in attack mode, like a WWE rassler spewing insults, and when attacked, he never flinches, but only doubles down and gets meaner and cruder, all while charging ahead with his agenda.
Trump may indeed be guilty of crimes; that remains to be seen. I also understand that many people may disagree with his policies and agenda. None of that however, is what drives the intense hatred of Trump, nor the relentless attempts to demonize and punish him. Rather, it is the characteristics I describe above. Those things make him a formidable opponent, rightly or wrongly, and his opponents not only hate his guts, but they fear him for it.
