###### I shouldn't have watched this NC State game on ACCN

I know all this has been discussed, but..
On NC State's 1st OT possession, when Sheridan Jones was called for holding on a 3rd down, the call was utter bullcrap. Jones never impeded the receiver in any way, and the ball was uncatchable too
Once they got four more downs, they ended up running a very flagrant pick play to free up their receiver for their tying score. No call.
Then when Ross' left arm was clearly grabbed, and he was impeded from reaching up for the 4th down play.. No call.
Why the heck did I watch this replay?

I thought it was a lot harder to watch our pathetic offense.

If our offense were just bad instead of awful, those questionable no calls you mentioned would not have mattered.

in 7 seasons. It goes without saying that if we were executing remotely as well as the system has since 2015, then we'd likely be 4-0.
I'm wondering why you felt the need to call it out? It's almost like you're enjoying the futility. By the way, you mentioned "pathetic offense"? That rings a bell.

I happen to like the strategy of standing around and jacking up 3s, even if we’re not very good at 3s.
About once every few weeks, it all clicks and we have an offensive explosion.
Totally worth it!

Best is the standard, not the bare minimum. The offense wasn’t a few plays away, the defense was. The offense got blown out by NC State.

We have been so good recently that it hasn't mattered. In a close game (whether because of their talent or our mistakes), the ACC Ref.s will cost us the game - it is just part of playing football in NC, and has been for a long time. We have to be able to create separation on the scoreboard.
This isn't a complaint, just an observation from years of watching it happen.
