ACC officials

Nov 7, 2014, 2:02 PM

How can the ACC pass a rule that allows no appeal to a rule that suspends a player based on one officials call? I'm Calling this the Obama Rule as in "my way or the highway". Write your AD.

The way I understand it, the ACC has no say in it

Wouldn't it be more intelligent to take away that power from

the conference to eliminate any chance of them ruling in favor of a team they seek to help out but instead reserving that power for the ncaa which has nothing to lose or benefit from what call is made? It seems that would make a whole lot of sense to me but I could see how allowing the conferences to do that could be a major issue because you never know if they twisted to benefit themselves. An example would be florida state going to play florida in the last game of the season and fsu's best defensive back was ejected for targeting and will be forced to miss the first half if the acc gets to make the decision and they rule in favor of the team that represents their conference giving them a key player back to better their chances against the conference they're striving the hardest to compete with, who's to say the league officials didn't rule solely because it would be beneficial to them. No one could say without a doubt that there was no type of corruption involved so I understand that but I don't understand why the ncaa wouldn't take over that responsibility and hand down a decision much like the nfl would.

The NCAA made the rule but the ACC needs to reprimand or fire the official that failed to over turn the call. He is either incompetent or biased.

He cost us 3 points and maybe more against GT. He cost a young man a 1/2 of football.
