I don't care that much for Bama or UGA, but both earned their way into their conference championship game by winning on the field. Then Bama earned the conference championship on the field by beating UGA in the championship game.
Conference champions earn it. Media darlings and beauty pageant winners don't. Bama belonged in over UGA. Close wins count just as much as blowouts, as winning is THE objective, as oppopsed to impressing the judges.

Embarassing? Obviously not. We weren't that good this year. We had injuries and we are growing through recruiting. Not to mention we were without a few if our best players leaving for the NFL.

the Tigers for “… the win over an sec team… “. He’s a good guy, but they're all eaten up with their sec arrogance. I so wanted to tell him it was no big deal beating them, as we were without our top three WRs, a starting OL, and four defensive starters, not to mention Ky also lost to the coots and the Vols.
