There are 3 Golfers I’ll have an eye on: - Our very own, Annabelle Pancake - UVA, Amanda Sambach - coot, Hannah Darling
So good to see Annabelle bounce back after her opening bogey . . . Eagles are rare for Our TIGERS . . . Glad she found those feathers!!!
(Top 30 after 2 days will play Augusta National in competition on Saturday!) (Everyone gets to play a practice round on Friday @ Augusta National!!!)
Crisp and Straight TIGER!!!
*** Remember: The Golf Channel has live coverage from 1:30 - 3:30pm EDT today. ***

Ouch. Doubled the par 3 6th. I wouldn't think the water is in play but surrounded by devilish bunkers. Too bad we don't have shot tracker.
Hannah Darling wouldn't shock me if she wins.

That they do. I know we get excited to have one of our own in, as well we should, but unbelievable it's Darling's 3rd? And I believe Sambich 4th... went b4 she ever stepped foot on campus. Hopefully we'll get to that point sooner than later.
Hate I can't watch. But doesn't surprise me so many European golfers up top. My weather app says the wind is howling and swirling. Those typical "Augusta winds ". If they're as bad as it looks, I'm surprised the overall scores aren't higher.

but hung in there . . . as this front moves through the winds are terrible . . . gusting to 35 mph here in Laurinburg and I’m sure they are much the same in Augusta.
Annabelle is @ +1 and T-40th Place . . . The Good News is, she is only one shot out of the Top 30!
You can watch “Live” on the ANWA Link: https://www.anwagolf.com/en_US/scores/index.html
(The Live Tab is at the Top just left of the Title.)
coots: Darling - Scotland Galitsky - Thailand (coming next yr) Rydqvist - Sweden
There may be other coots in the Field too!!! I can only imagine the NIL $$$ Darla Moore has thrown their way!!!

This past Monday, I met the ladies golf team at Boscobel. Coach Kelly made sure I knew where each of them were from. Pretty much knew already. Some of them I had been reading about for years. Much more proud of our local talent than the coots mercenaries. These ladies will be Tigers for life, while the coots mercenaries are just that. Paid and gone, never to return again or pay back anything to usuc. Go Tigers!!!

Alice Hewson came from England. She's still very much involved with and caring about the university. Savannah came from Canada. Still loves Clemson, always will.
You're making a false assumption that just because they're from a foreign country, they'll dis the university once they're gone.
Since you self proclaim to be this expert and all knowing about everything Clemson, especially women's golf, then you should know women's golf moreso than men's, you really have to recruit worldwide.
Certainly one would rather have local talent. But you can't restrict yourself geographically. So, tell us more of this knowledge you have?

Gianna Clemente from Estero, Florida . . . She T-14th Place LAST YEAR and is -2 after today’s round (T-12th) . . .
Gianna is uncommitted right now, but getting her to be a TIGER would take the same effort as Coach Byrd stated for us to get in the conversation with Miles Russell (another Florida youngster) . . . a pocket full of NIL $$$ . . .
Look no farther to why Our TIGERS have fallen in the Golfing World than the “Pay to Play” mentality. We need a Darla Moore type individual.

Thanks skeeta56 as always. What you think. I'm thinking with calmer conditions, probably need to get to -3 to be safe.
Yeah, as much as we don't like it, nil is permeating throughout all sports. I'd gander to say that a lot on here only think it affects football. I know Annabelle and Melena are affiliated with yonbons but I'm not sure how much it pays. And I really don't think they promote it to make money. 😕
The whole thing just makes me sick to my stomach. But I guess you can't fault the kids.

Welp, we're off. She'll have to post and then wait. The winds must be swirling again and chilly too. Early results look promising for Annabelle as the early scores seem high. But the double bogey on 18 has put her t45 at +3. She'll have to have a magical back 9. Probably have to play it at minimum -3 and then hope the scores continue to climb.
Congratulations on getting invited. Maybe we get lucky and she uses an extra year.
