Bashaud Breeland has been arrested in Charlotte for the second time in a year.
According to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office website, Breeland was booked into jail on Sunday morning on multiple charges, including felony drug charges, assaulting a government official, resisting an officer, and injury to personal property. He still has a criminal case pending from August 2023 on charges of possessing a stolen car, a stolen firearm, and drugs. Breeland played eight seasons in the NFL, including winning a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. He had 271 tackles, seven forced fumbles, 60 passes defended, seven forced fumbles, and eight interceptions during his four years with the Washington Commanders. The Commanders drafted him in the fourth round out of Clemson in 2014.
