TigerNet Talk #55 - The Alarm is Souding - 10/10/2008
El Swann® releases an emergency edition of TigerNet Talk to address the
current state of Clemson football.
Clemson fans this is it, the end of the road. The Tommy Bowden era is done.
Whether it occurs within the next week or at the end of the season, is merely a
formality. It appears the team has lost all confidence in the staff, and the
staff seems disoriented.
The Clemson Tigers, preseason #9, fall to 3-3 overall and 1-3 against division
I opponents. It is reasonable to believe they are out of the ACC race no matter
what they do. There is no longer room for excuses. The locomotive that was capable of delivering us to greatness has been unequivocally derailed.

TigerNet Talk #54 - The State of the Conference - 10/06/2008
It's rare that a matchup this early in the ACC schedule can cause such worry for
Tiger fans. Unfortunately, having lost to Maryland, this game becomes a must win
after only playing two conference games. A loss in this game and the Tigers will
have too much ground to make up in order to get to Tampa. From this point
forward, Clemson will need to be flawless in their execution if they expect to
play for the conference title.
The Tigers face Wake Forest, known for years as an ACC bottom dweller, but
having emerged the past few seasons, they now adorn the bullseye once
frequently worn by our boys. Wake Forest comes in owning an ACC title from 2006
and finishing one game from a return trip just one season ago. Led by Riley
Skinner and Josh Adams, Wake Forest looks to continue their run at the ACC
title game.
Will the Tigers and Coach Tommy Bowden get the wheels on straight and pull
themselves out of their early season rut, or will this team continue to have
fans talking about, "What could have been?"
This week El Swann® previews the upcoming showdown in Winston-Salem and the
overall look of the conference.

TigerNet Talk #53 - 10/02/2008
Disaster strikes Death Valley as the Tigers drop a critical game to Maryland.
After leading 17-6 at the half, Clemson (3-2, 1-1) gets stunned 20-17 after
Maryland (4-1, 1-0) makes critical adjustments at the half. Did this game
finally push Tommy Bowden over the edge, or will he bounce back and make a run
to the ACC title? Only time will tell.
Clemson is in the midst of a bye week before their huge matchup next Thursday
vs. Wake Forest. Next week's TigerNet Talk will be released on Tuesday
morning.
*This week's show features segments from my Clemson Hotline interview with
Coach Bowden.

TigerNet Talk #52 - 9/24/2008
The Clemson Tigers look to keep their winning streak alive in the second ACC
game of the season. A Clemson loss could send the Tigers and their fans into a
downward spiral for the rest of the season. A Clemson win this weekend would
leave the the Tigers standing 4-1, with an open week to prepare for their
Thursday night battle with Wake Forest. Every game from this point forward his
big, but for some reason I get the feeling this one has HUGE written all over
it.

TigerNet Talk #51 - 9/18/2008
TigerNet Talk host El Swann recaps the N.C. State game, and previews the S.C.
State game. Are Ron Cherry and Mike Wood related? I have seen some terrible
calls in my years, but last weekend might have taken the cake.
El Swann talks a little basketball too! Give it up for Coach Purnell! Should
Clemson lock him up for a long time? Swanny thinks so, how about you?

TigerNet Talk #50 - 9/11/2008
First of all, let me thank each and everyone of you for making TigerNet Talk
successful. It's hard to believe I have recorded 50 shows over the past four
years.I really appreciate those of you who have contributed to the show. Guys
like Steve Guerry, Dan Scott, Scott Rhymer, ShoelessCU, ClemsonJoe, Lee Hanna,
TigerinNYC, and Garrett Hammond. I am sure I have missed a few, but none the
less I appreciate each of you taking the time to help me.
I also need to say thank you to Crump and B-Meist. They gave me an opportunity
to share my passion for Clemson sports with the Clemson Nation. When I came to
them with the idea of a podcast, it was a very new concept. There were only a
handful of them out at the time. In fact, as far as I can tell, TigerNet Talk
was THE FIRST CLEMSON TIGER PODCAST!
Most importantly, I want to thank the loyal listeners to my program. Without
you, this program would have ended a long time ago. I hope you will continue to
listen, and also tune in to my other show Clemson Hotline on a radio station
near you. (It also has a podcast edition)
I look forward to the next 50 shows. I hope you do too.
Thanks for listening and GO TIGERS!
