All excellent observations. Especially the part about USuCk only winning 10 bowls in their history. Hahahahahahaha And Jake and Weitz are great in my book. That dribble kick... I was there in the end zone and gasped so hard, I think I sucked it over the bar! Hehe
Go Tigers

I guess for #28 we came full circle, 365 degrees, like the Michigan running back said.

So are we counting National Championship games as Bowl wins now? (referencing 12 bowl wins in 15 years makes it seem like he was 12-3 which he wasn't).
If so, which 'Bowl' is the National Championship? The National Championship Bowl?
I don't think you can claim 2 bowl games in the same season--we should stop fudging those numbers

"Postseason wins" would probably be a more accurate descriptor.***

Clemson first played two bowl games in the same year in 1959. The 1959 Sugar Bowl on 1/1/59 which was a 0-7 loss to LSU. Clemson would then play in the 1959 Bluebonnet Bowl on 12/19/59 which was 7-0 Tiger win against TCU.
That's just one (the first) of many examples. It happened again in 1989, 1996, 2001, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2021.

The "College Football Playoff National Championship".
It is counted as a bowl game. Do 30 seconds of research.

Who is saying Briningstool is having a bad year?

Seems like a fake narrative. Most, including me, think he's had his best year so far, and a productive one at that.

The people complaining about Briningstool suffer from recency bias and are comparing him only to Leggett. Note in the article that Briningstool had more catches but far fewer yards than Leggett’s best season. Jake played a more conventional tight end role catching short passes. Leggett was like an additional wide receiver on the field and was a bigger threat downfield. Most people want to see big plays so they don’t think Leggett was good. I’ll take a big TE playing his role and catching short passes for first downs all day long.

I won't hold the poor performance in the bowl game against Luke, he only had a couple of weeks to learn the guys' names and we were missing key pieces. I'm very excited for him to turn the line into some mean SOBs that dads wouldn't want their daughters to date. Wouldn't even mind the occasional penalty or two, ANYTHING to prove that they have a fire in them and are sick of the Clemson offensive line being a liability instead of an asset.
Shame we have to endure another season of our receivers being in a similar boat; I thought Grisham would be gone for sure. Prove me wrong and I won't even ask for ketchup when I eat my crow, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

131 years”. Love it. And speaking of ball boys, I loved it when the ball boy on the Ky sideline was lobbying the officials for a flag on the hit on Cade out of bounds.

ain't paying close enough attention. Sure, there's been room for improvement, but the kid plays like his hair is on fire. He's been solid all year and he's only going to get better

Point # 21...

...is rather surprising to me but, I assume, shows how much the game has changed to more of a passing game in recent years. It's hard to believe Cade has made the top 10 in completions in only one season plus a couple games last year!
It will be interesting to see where he lands after next season, which I hope will be more productive than this season!
Go Tigers!!

If that was an essay, then I’m gonna give you an A for it. I don’t think I could think of 28 observations, even if poorly developed ones were allowed.

"This one is just funny to me, because I like watching people’s faces. A Kentucky media person asked me how I thought Clemson would stand up to “an SEC roster.” I said, “Well, it depends. We talking about an SEC roster like South Carolina or Vanderbilt or Miss. State, or a roster like Georgia?”
I'm so sick of this false narrative that EVERY $EC TEAM has such a great roster!!!!
