I would take Charlie Ward at his best over Peyton Manning if it were down to 1 game in college.

When it comes to all time QBs for Clemson, I still think back to the option offense and Mike Eppley...think he was one of our best ever (but think DW4, TLaw and Boyd were better).

Just my opinion here and not sure what all metrics they used but from watching both of their careers from their first snap under center until now id switch DW4 and Trevor Lawrence around. Of course Trevor is on the way up and getting better every year so i guess it's not a stretch to have them where they are

Correction, I thought this was a combination of college and pro career rankings but now i see it's just college career taken into account. In that case, definitely switch DW4 and Trevor

Don't blame you for thinking that. Ranker rankings are done by randoms on the internet, so it's always heavily skewed to what's going on right now and is horrible. I mean, they have Daniel Jones as a top 100 college QB of all time....

I don't particularly care for him but Cam is easily #1 imo.

He carried that Auburn team on his back to a national championship they had no business winning.

I agree Tebow is the greatest college QB of all time. Other than that, I really don't like this ranking. A bunch of people are clearly ranking these guys based on their NFL success. Montana was only an average college quarterback. Same with Elway and Archie and many others. You know there's not much argument when the best they can say is it paved the way for their great NFL careers.
Another obvious example is Matthew Stafford. Now, Stafford is the most talented all-around QB I saw play live in college. He's an NFL hall of famer and I'd be shocked if Trevor ends up passing him. But he didn't really accomplish much in college, outside of winning the Sugar Bowl against Hawaii in 2007.
If I'm ranking the top 10, I'm going with:
1. Tim Tebow 2. Vince Young 3. Tommie Frazier 4. Matt Leinart 5. Kellen Moore (most wins by a starter in history and took down numerous big opponents without a single blue chip player around him) 6. Deshaun Watson 7. Joe Burrow 8. Johnny Lujack 9. Danny Wuerffel 10. Cam Newton

I disagree with Burrow all the way...he had one great season in college! It was great, and probably the best ever for one year QBs...but, I like to see it for a career, not one year!

Who was the QB out of Woodruff that won a championship at Notre Dame?

I'm not sure how much credence I put into a site that thinks Joe Namath played for Miami.

Pretty special seeing two of our own in the top 20, especially ahead of all those Heisman winners. I don't know what criteria they used to rank them, but IMO, Phillip Rivers is WAY too low on that list.

Tim Teebow Cam Newton Michael Vick All these guys could win a game with less help.
Clemson has had great play at QB. The best might not be reflected in just stats. Dantzler was kinda forced into being the QB and did great. Support level was low from a team level at the time, so he had to be superman. Being short and etc, he does not match the natural QB talent level of many at Clemson, but was a star.
