If Chad Morris takes the job.

It was until recently....it's hard to know what's going

on at Baylor right now....they're still having difficulty owning what went on there for years....ya gotta figure it'll take a while to unify their entire fanbase.....so many defections from committed recruits and players, and the bad headlines are from over

Morris needs to carefully consider an offer from Waco....plus....he's still got a challenge restoring SMU's program

Absolutely this would a huge move. Baylor just built a relatively new stadium and they are in a major power conference. The only negative would be looming NCAA sanctions from the previous staff and administration.

SMU has academic restrictions which makes it harder for recruiting. To my knowledge Baylor is not as difficult academically.

Not if Baylor is on probation for an extended time. It may be a power 5 job but that program is a flaming bag of poo right now.

Too much baggage with Baylor

all the off field stuff. Hard to live up to Briles on the field legend. Chad can do better.

absolutely - facilities, donor $$, recruiting, etc

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

The Chad needs to keep doing what he's doing in bringing SMU

back.

People notice, whether it's Power 5 or not.

Baylor is toxic, toxic and will destroy anyone who sets foot there.

Doesn't matter who has the job, even if they have success, the detractors will not let it go...

and rightly so.

Absolutely but it's going to be a really tough job for a few years.

Lots of attrition and recruiting fallout from the scandal. The talent level will have to be built back up much like at Penn State when O'Brien took over. However, where O'Brien was met with support and understanding at PSU, I'm not sure that's going to be the case at Baylor. There seems to be a lot of defiance and continued support of Briles around the program and that's just going to make things that much more difficult for whoever takes over.

not sure but going from Daniel to South Carolina
