Steve Fuller beat Scar with "The Catch" that assured a bowl game for Clemson for first time since 1950's
Homer Jordan came from behind to beat Scar in Williams Brice to earn a place in National Championship game, which we won.
Deshaun Watson played Scar with the pressure of needing to win to make the CFP.
So, is it really that easy?!

Only 4-0. Yep! Those others certainly put it to the coots as well.

No one will ever top 63-17 in Cooterville. That was the real beginning of Gamecock fans disguising themselves as aluminum seats.

63-17 was a great moment for sure. Maybe the most enjoyable moment ever for me in the Rivalry.
But you can argue Fuller's win in 1978 allowed Clemson to get to the Gator Bowl, where we ended up beating Ohio State and became a national brand. The Gator Bowl is widely considered the start of what would be the National Championship of '81.
You can also argue Homer Jordan, leading Clemson back from a deficit in 1981 in Williams Brice was critical. Had Clemson lost, they would not have played for a National Championship vs. Nebraska.
And if Deshaun loses any of his 3 games vs. South Carolina, Clemson does not make the playoff and if it were 2016 would not have won the title.
So, is it that easy??!! Heart strings go to Whithurst and 63-17. But 63-17 meant nothing in 2004 or 2005.
Gator Bowl and Two National Titles meant something....
Just saying, I can make an argument for any of the 4

‘15 was the only year Clemson had to actually play in the rivalry game to stay in the CFP race. We were out of it in ‘14, but you have to give Watson a ton of credit for playing with one leg and ending the 5 year streak. The ‘16 game was an absolute massacre.

Whitehurst. Won the 100th game in ‘02. Torched them in ‘03 with 63-17. Whipped them figuratively and literally in the ‘04 fight game. 1st and 35 in ‘05 to spoil Spurrier’s debut.
All the others had great moments in the history of the game, but my nod is to CW for going 4-0.

I can make the argument for all 4.
Charlie had the memorable wins, but the others each (in their own way) had more important wins.
