I'm not ready to give up my mancard yet but I will not protest a modifier.

After 10 days of either covid or the worst chest cold I've ever had and the additional lost of my baby boy, Phillip, I retired to my bed at ~5PM yesterday and awoke at 3am feeling both humble and human.
If those in authority of the issuance and maintenance of mancards here are so inclined I will accept the addition of "OLD," preceding the headline, 'Mancard.' I suggest a hyphen between man and card to ensure accuracy.

The report won't be finished for several weeks. I won't discuss it further.

couple of decades to respond to a post about losing a loved one asking "how they passed". This is the 2nd time. I only remember it because of how low-classed it was the first time around, but I don't remember who he asked it to.
Pretty SHITTTT thing IMO not to either a) not respond at all, or b) pass along condolences and #### beyond that.
Sorry for your loss.

Thought I wouldn't ask someone about something that personal...

I didn't take offense that it was asked of me. My father died at 36 with his first heart attack which might have something to do with my position on that issue. 36 is very young to have life threatening health issues but accidents happen.
So Carlsbad, if you read this, know that my quick refusal of not discussing this was not from a soul which is offended that you are concern how a 36 year old passed. I completely understand the dilemma.

Remember the joy of the Children of Israel when they walked out of Egypt with all the wealth of the empire?
That is exactly how I feel for my son. He is released of the bondage of flesh and resides in the court of The LORD. So does a Christian know the joy of God has more function than daily assurance of the salvation bought by the blood of Christ.
Thank you for the kind and loving words.
