CFP at home fields: Has it been announced how tickets will work for that?

Will it be split 50/50 like a regular bowl game?
Or will home school get a typical home school allotment with visiting school getting typical small allotment?
I may have missed this detail...thanks in advance if you know.

If you don't know, not many on here will either. I just hope we always get the bye week.

When you talk to the money men, I say 80/20 for the home team should be the model.

It'll probably be something like 15K or 20K tickets provided to each school and the rest released to the open market via a national ticketing website. Sponsors could also get a ticket allotment, most of which would ultimately end up for sale on a website.

I guess I'm not sure who would have the right to dictate that to the home team

We only give the away team tickets because it's a rule for conference games or quid pro quo for high profile nonconference games. It's not like the CFP committee can say we won't let you play if you don't follow our ticketing rules it would erode the legitimacy of the whole tournament to leave teams out who've earned a spot.

I most certainly think CFP Organization will standardized the ticket

situation for those teams hosting. What that will be I do not know, hence the post.
But they most certainly will standardize it so all hosts are following same protocols.

Something we won’t ever have to worry about. Either we get bye with being ACC champs or we go to the pinstripe bowl. All the at large are reserved for SeC and B10.
By now, this shouldn’t have to be repeated.

How many conferences are involved in making the rules? If it is just two, then all spots will go to those two conferences.

CFP will print the tickets and control the sales like a bowl game, with allotments for each team. Home stadium gets the parking and concessions income. Assume CFP will be billed for security and logistics overhead.
